Wrestlemania Celebrity Rushmore #WWECelebRushmore

April 1, 2011 3 comments

Wrestlemania has been filled with celebrities.  From Wrestlemania 1 with Liberace, Mr. T, and Muhammad Ali.  The use of Mike Tyson at Wrestlemania 14 helped push WWE back into #1.  Donald Trump at Wrestlemania 23 made that Wrestlemania the most successful Mania ever.

This year… we’re getting Snooki!

Earlier this week, I wanted to know who would be on your Wrestlemania Mount Rushmore.  You all weighed in; see some here.  Also Paul Heyman gave his here.

Now who would be on your Celebrity list?  Who would be your Celebrity Mania Rushmore? My list?

Mr. T, Mike Tyson, Donald Trump, Bob Uecker

Is Snooki Good for Wrestlemania?

March 15, 2011 3 comments

This morning, a friend of mine who NEVER talks wrestling, sent me a link to a TMZ story – here

Yep – the girl who got punched in the face on MTV is helping bring eyeballs to the WWE.

Well, if you haven’t figured out by now, the WWE’s PG stance seems to have softened going into this Wrestlemania.  And I don’t blame them.  Gloves are off when it comes to Wrestlemania.  On Twitter last night, the reaction was very split on “Should Snooki be involved in a match”.  WWE right now is attempting to get as many eyeballs on their product as possible.  The return of the Rock started the momentum and now Snooki.

Look at what they’ve generated already this morning.
